OUR CHOIR TEAM

OUR GROUP OF CHOIRS

In RBFCHURCH, God is doing a great work through four choirs in their songs where they are singing with trumpets and cymbals to praise,  thanksgivings and dance. Praise God!

And all the Levitical singers, Asaph, Heman, and Jeduthun, their sons and kinsmen, arrayed in fine linen, with cymbals, harps, and lyres, stood east of the altar with 120 priests who were trumpeters; and it was the duty of the trumpeters and singers to make themselves heard in unison in praise and thanksgiving to the Lord), and when the song was raised, with trumpets and cymbals and other musical instruments, in praise to the Lord, “For he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever,” the house, the house of the Lord, was filled with a cloud, so that the priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud, for the glory of the Lord filled the house of God. 2Chronicles 5:12-14

Then on that day David delivered first this psalm to thank the LORD into the hand of Asaph and his brethren. Give thanks unto the LORD, call upon his name, Make known his deeds among the people. Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him, Talk ye of all his wondrous works. Glory ye in his holy name: Let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD. Seek the LORD and his strength, Seek his face continually. 1Chronicles 16:7-11

HUDUMA CHOIR

We are a group of Singers working under direction of God and RBFChurch’s leadership. we started this choir in 2010. It is very helpful to sing praising and worshipping God, because He is worthy to be praised, sing unto the LORD a new song: sing unto the LORD, all the earth. -Psalms 96:1

Choir helps us and others to grow spiritually, we practice once a week and learn new songs. We also take time to fast and pray for choir and all the body of Christ. We take a time to meditate, and share the word of God as well. We have discipline and rules, and everybody must follow the rules in order to sing and play the songs in calm.

We have leadership and counselor. The leaders who give direction and choir activities.

The counselor is an Evangelist who works closely with us to support and counseling the choir in many ways.

We have also some music instruments, but is not enough because the singers are majority young and students, so they don’t have means to afford all choir music instruments. The most problem we have is a place, we meet and practice in some friend homes which is not good for neighbors. Choir is the way to serve God through songs according to how you have received the calling. We therefore invite everybody to join us to serve God in this field. Then said he unto his disciples, the harvest truly is plenteous, but the laborers are few; -Matthew 9:37
